Our History

Mrs. Betty Gambrell was the driving force to establish an Animal Shelter in Emanuel County in the mid 1970’s. Our shelter started off as a Handi-House in a fenced yard devoted to help animals in need. Since then, we have relocated and expanded the shelter to accommodate over 70 animals. We continue to stay committed and dedicated to care for the well-being of all animals and towards finding forever homes for all our dogs.
